My Trip to Idaho

The summer after my senior year of high school, myself and nine of my friends painstakingly planned out a ten-day trip starting the Bay Area, heading east to Nevada through Truckee, bending north into Idaho, then crossing into Washington, heading for Seattle, and coming back down to the Bay along the coast. Remarkably, everything went roughly according to plan - except that, halfway into Idaho, two people got COVID.

Suddenly, we had to turn around and head straight for home before they started to feel any worse, making plans and motel reservations on the fly. The latter half of the trip was a bit of a mess, but on the bright side it reinvigorated my interest in photography, which I hadn't explored much since elementary school. And, it was on this trip that I bought my first film camera, a Kodak Instamatic 104 - more on that here.
