In January, I had the opportunity to visit Lake Tahoe and experience skiing for the first time at Heavenly Mountain Resort. The left image is me sking. Although I stumbled badly multiple times, it was an unforgettable experience because I challenged myself to step outside my comfort zone and embrace new challenges. The image on the right is the stunning landscapes of Heavenly Mountain. It is so beautiful and I cannot wait to visit again in the future.
In March, I visited Long Beach Aquarium with my friend Kelly. I was deeply impressed by various types of sea creatures, such as sea otters, sharks, and sea jellies. Seeing some endangered species, such as Green sea turtles, deeply reinforced the importance of protecting our environment—not just for humans, but for all the species we share this planet with. This visit was a powerful reminder that our actions play a critical role in preserving the delicate balance of our shared home.
I believe this place is also an excellent destination for children to visit because there are a lot of educational programs and hands-on activities that inspire curiosity and foster a deeper understanding of ocean life. Reflecting on the photos from my visit, I realize how much this experience allowed me to not only relax from connect with the beauty of nature.
