Palak Paneer is the green hero curry of the Indian Cuisine. It is delicious, super healthy and rich in texture and flavour!

Enjoy with rice or with crispy buttery garlic naan or even bread!

INGREDIENTS


INSTRUCTIONS


  1. Cut the spinach into small pieces and wash and rinse thoroughly with hot water
  2. Place a pan on stovetop on medium high and add 2 Tbsp oil
  3. After oil is heated for 5 mins, add the spinach and cashews
  4. Stir spinach in oil on medium heat until spinacch turns dark green
  5. Let it cool down for 5-10 minutes and then finely blend spiach into a puree
  6. On medium heat, add remaining oil and let it heat for 2 mins
  7. Add finely chopped onions and stir for 2 mins
  8. Add ginger and garlic powder and stir until onions ae golden brown
  9. Add jeera, dhaniya and red chilli powder and stir well.
  10. After 5 minutes, add the spinach puree and mix well. Let it cook for 5 minutes
  11. Add 2 tsp salt and stir well.
  12. Add the paneer cubes and stir well. Cook for 5 minutes
  13. Add the heavy cream and stir well for 2 mins. Turn the stove off.
  14. Palak Paneer is now hot and ready to serve!
