Dahi Tadka is a creamy and spicy yoghurt that can be made in a mattere of few miuntes! It is especially tasty with

rice and aachaar(pickle) or even a hot Indian vegetable curry!

INGREDIENTS


INSTRUCTIONS


  1. Take 2 cups of yoghurt, add 3/4 cup of water add whisk until yoghurt has runny consistency and set aside
  2. Place the pan on stovetop on medium flame
  3. Add oil to the hot pan and let heat for 2 minutes
  4. Add jeera powder to the oil and stir well for 2 minutes
  5. Add finely chopped onions to the pan and stir for 2 mins
  6. Add garlic and ginger powder.Stir onions in oil on medium heat until onions are golden-brown
  7. Add jeera, dhaniya and red chilli powders and stir for 5 minutes
  8. Turn off the stove and let the onions cool off for 10 minutes
  9. Slowly stir the onions while adding the yoghurt. Keep mixing until the yoghurt and onions are well combined
  10. Turn on the stove and stir the yoghurt for 5 minutes on low flame
  11. Add salt according to taste, mix and turn off the stove.
  12. Dahi Tadka is now hot and ready to serve!
