Chicken Tikka Masala is a creamy and flavourful chicken curry that is easy to make! It is delightful with

rice or with crispy buttery garlic naan or even bread!

INGREDIENTS


INSTRUCTIONS


  1. Cut the chicken thighs into smaller peices and add the Jeera, Dhaniya, Red Chilli, Turmeric, Ginger and Garlic powders. Add 2 Tbsp of oil and 1 Tbsp Salt and mix well. Set the marinated chicken peices aside.
  2. Finely chop the onions into small pieces and blend to make a paste
  3. Boil tomatoes and let cool for 10 mins in cold water. Peel the skin and blend the tomatoes into a puree
  4. Place a pan on stovetop on medium high and add remaining oil
  5. After oil is heated for 5 mins, put the heat on low and slowly add the onion paste.
  6. Stir onions in oil on medium heat until onions are golden-brown
  7. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and nicely mix the onion and the chicken
  8. Place a lid over the pan and let the chicken for about 10 mins. Open lid to stir occasionally
  9. After water and oil begans to accummulate on the sides, add the tomato puree and stir well
  10. Cover with lid again for 10 mins and keep stirring occasionally
  11. Add chicken masala and kasoori methi and stir well, and then add 2 Tbsp heavy cream
  12. Once the chicken, tomato and onion is cooked, taste to make adjustments to salt and other spices
  13. Chicken Tikka Masala is now hot and ready to serve!
